Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 ReviewI’ve been eagerly waiting for a truly great Spidey game, a game that doesn't just feel like the cheap video game version of the Marvel franchise. Insomniac have a great track record of making great games. Spyro and Ratchet and Clank being the huge standouts.
So has Insomniac created a truly worthy Spider-Man game? |
Horizon Zero Dawn ReviewHorizon Zero Dawn, brought to you by Killzone developer Guerrilla Games. After this mysterious new project was shown at E3 2015, it generated a lot of interest. Horizon Zero Dawn was a completely new and ambitious project for Guerrilla Games. Straying completely away from their 1st person shooter roots, to make an open world action RPG. 2 years later and HZD hits the shelves early 2017. Is this a big hitter for Sony? Or is this just an idea that shouldn’t have seen the light of day?

Tekken 7 ReviewTekken is my personal favorite fighting game franchise of all time. My first ever Tekken, was Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2. Now decades later, the latest installment is here, Tekken 7. Is this an aging franchise? Or is the king of iron fist still a huge hitter?

Forza Horizon 3 ReviewForza Horizon is the little brother of Microsoft’s big flagship racer Forza Motorsport, except the little brother is starting to turn into the man of the house.

FIFA 17 ReviewThis year there's a brand new mode called “the journey”. The journey is a story mode, in FIFA. With cutscenes thanks to the frostbite engine, to voice acting from actors and real football players. It’s looking impressive.
There was once upon a time back in the FIFA 12/13 days when FIFA was a fantastic all round football game, with fun, exciting gameplay. So is FIFA 17 a return to the glory days? Or is this just another stale year of FIFA? |
PES 2017 ReviewPES 2016 lacked mode depth too which held the game back. However the pros outweighed the cons purely because of how refreshing it was to play a football game like that and was just a blast to play. Overall PES 2016 was a good football game and better than it’s counterpart FIFA last year.
So what about this year, is PES 2017 a title winner or is it slipping down the table? |
No Mans Sky (2016) ReviewNo Man's Sky is a space exploration game which allows player to travel through the Universe and visit over 18 Quintillion procedurally planets. As impressive as that sounds, does that actually translate to good game? Is this a noble space mission ,or a pointless void into space?

Fifa 16 ReviewFIFA 16 has arrived, with the general message being, “balance” The developers pledge that there has been refinements in all areas of the pitch making a much better football game, and new features to the large amount of modes that FIFA has. Is this enough? Or has FIFA just become stale milk?
|
The Witcher 3 ReviewA critically acclaimed game, a game that is dubbed to be a serious contender to be the greatest RPG of all time. Does it live up to the hype and praise? Or does it fail to live up to expectations?
